I know, I know, pardon the pun in the title. With two weeks left until release, Netflix released the final trailer for Stranger Things today. A lot is going on in our friendly, little Indiana town, and it seems we are going to be in for an action packed season.
This season takes place one year after the events in season one. Will is out of the upside down, but not everything is hunky-dory. At the end of last season, we saw Will hack up a vomit slug into the sink and were left with a number of questions. Is it just a residual vomit slug? Is will turning into an alien? Is he now a host for aliens in the real world? In fact, we covered this and much more in our feature on what to expect in season two.
Joining the cast this year are Sean Astin and Paul Reiser. Astin plays a pharmacist who is now dating Will’s mom. Reiser on the other hand, well, he’s in charge of cleanup duty at the plant. Basically, it’s now his job to get rid of all the evidence to the upside down after the other guy had his eyeballs exploded. In the trailer, we see the giant spider monster coming to fruition, doctors struggling over wtf is going on with Will and Sean Astin running for dear life for some reason.
All the episodes will be available to stream on October 27th, and you can check out the new trailer below.
