TVEnthusiast is here with some quick impressions of the seventh episode of Starz’ new series from Bryan Fuller (Hannibal), American Gods. Full impressions and a discussion of the episode will come in our weekly podcast, The Weekly Set, this Friday.

In an unusually sweet and heartfelt episode for the series, we got to see Mad Sweeney’s coming to America segment, as presented over the course of the entire episode.  Emily Browning played dual roles in the episode as both Laura Moon in the present, and Essie MacGowan in the past.  The story jumps back and forth between Laura and Mad Sweeney’s journey for her resurrection, and the life of a superstitious Irish woman who eventually settles in America, after twice facing the gallows.

The seventh episode of American Gods is currently available to stream, and on demand, in the United States through Starz.  Internationally, the series will be made available through Amazon Prime Instant Video.  The episode will air on Starz, in the United States, tonight.

Tell us what you thought about the episode here, and we will read your comments and answer your questions on our weekly podcast, where our full discussion will take place.

Thank you for visiting TVEnthusiast and stay tuned for more coverage of American Gods, and all of your favorite shows.
